School Renewal & Improvement Plan

The Renewal Cycle Comprises Three Phases.

The cycle of Catholic School Renewal occurs across a 5-year period. Within this timeframe, school communities engage with the following three phases: 

PHASE ONE:      Self Review followed by Discernment 

PHASE TWO:      Verification followed by Strategic Planning 

PHASE THREE:   Validation followed by Annual School Improvement planning

These three phases of School Renewal are underpinned by the School Renewal Process  of review; plan; and take action as illustrated in the diagram beside.

St Mary's Catholic School, Bowen is currently working through Phases 1-2 in 2025.
The Annual School IMprovement Plan and School Renewal will be released in Term 4 this year.
